The Tubolito Tubo MTB inner tube is made of thermoplastic. This highly innovative choice was made by Tubilito because this material is twice as puncture-resistant as traditional rubber. In addition, the Tubolito inner tubes are exceptionally light and 50% smaller to roll up than rubber inner tubes. This MTB inner tube is suitable for tire widths of 1.8”- 2.5” (45-64 mm) and can therefore be used for almost any MTB.
CAUTION: Do not inflate this inner tube to more than 0.5 bar if it is not yet mounted. The thermoplastic material is not suitable for this.
